These aren't even on the market yet and we got 'em!

If you are new to Chicago, here are some places off the beaten path for fun:

Stop back for a downable PDF of this list to take with you!
  • Kuma's Corner
Best burger in Chicago with great imports. Thanks to Playboy, the Food Network and a beautiful marketing campaign by the hot (and single!)Amanda this place gets crowded so be prepared!
  • Liar's Club
After Kuma's have the cab stop you off at the Liars club and if Tim is working, tip him well. This hole in the wall serves up hard music and a wild night. Probably not a good idea to bring the boss.
  • The Smoke Daddy
Best BBQ in town with nightly music.
Thursday night check out the Urban Hog Wranglers, the house band, for a bit of country, rock-a-billy and all around good fun. Tell Urban we say hey!
  • Music Box Theatre
Need to take in a show to get away from the madness for a night? This ain't no run-of-the-mill theater. Old school with off the main-stream prints.
  • Brew & View
Looking for a more commoners approach to movie houses?
Good movies. Good people. Cold Beer. What else is there?
  • Gibsons
This ain't Chicago without a steakhouse, and Gibsons is it. Head to the one on Rush, get your fill of Chicago's Best, then wander the area for the sights. Be prepared to stay out as it can get quite interesting!
  • Hugo's Frog Bar
Gibson's not your style? Directly behind, and owned by, is Hugo's. Crab, cod, whitefish...and if you can, get Dave for your waiter!
  • Italian Village
Oldest "Italian Restaurant in Chicago" and Wine Spectator's "Grand Award" Annually since 1984. I could go on but why? Relax and enjoy the finest.
  • Second City
This is where they all come from.
    • Bill Murray
    • Alan Arkin
    • John Candy
    • John Belushi
    • Harold Ramis
    • Steve Carrell
    • Mike Myers
    • Chris Farley
More are being created on a nightly basis.
  • Chicago Hauntings
Up for a good scare? Evening tours of a Haunted Chicago; from gangland hits to the shipwrecks, and if you think Resurrection Mary is a tale to keep the kids in line, you may be in for a shock.
  • Chicago Tours
We love to show off our beautiful city, and along the way you can see where your favorite movies where shot, such as:
    • The Dark Knight
    • Wanted
    • The Blues Brothers
    • The Untouchables
    • Ferris Bueller's Day Off
    • Backdraft
and find them in the comfort of a tour:
    • Bus-Trolley
    • Carriage
    • Air
    • Boat
    • Walking
    • Bike
    • Segway
  • Brooks/Dunn/ZZ Top
Leaving Sunday? Closing night of the show so ditch the suit for some denim and t-shirt, grab a cold beer (or two) and have a blast.
  • White Sox
Not sure what Sox fan setup IMTS for no Cub's home games, but the mighty White Sox have a string of night games during the show. Gotta love that bunt commercial!
